RETAIL NEW BRAND DESIGN

Capalaba Central

Success builds terrific relationships, as the work we’ve been doing with Shayher Properties demonstrates. Following the delivery of a package of creative and digital work for their retail shopping centre Wynnum Plaza, they tasked iCreate with the rebranding of their newly acquired ‘Capalaba Central’ retail shopping centre.

One of the big challenges with a repositioning campaign is giving locals who see their retail centre as a familiar and known quantity a fresh new outlook that inspires curiosity and enthusiasm.

We’re now looking forward to working with Shayher Properties on their upcoming Christmas campaigns for both Wynnum Plaza and Capalaba Central.

Logo Design that meets the clients brief

Capalaba Central is often referred to as ‘Central’ and a competing shopping centre, ‘Capalaba Park’ as ‘Park’. So the client wanted to emphasise the ‘Central’ or the ‘C’ in the logo. The stylised circle shape surrounding the C also resonates strongly with the usual iconography of digital mapping tools. As something of an evolution of a place-finding symbol, it is further emphasising the primary sense and feel of Capalaba Central as a noteworthy location.

Icon Set

We developed a set of icons, colours and a graphic pattern to help differentiate key areas of the retail precinct

Collateral Design

Vibrant designs that use our icon + pattern provide fresh ways to promote various areas of focus in the shopping complex

Temporary Website Graphics

Currently the Capalaba Central website is under construction. iCreate designed a skin for a Landing Page to ensure they have an online presence until the website is ready for launch.
