In the dynamic world of real estate, selling off-plan properties presents unique challenges and opportunities. We recently sat with Jason Good from Stone Project Marketing to talk about some of the challenges they faced, and how we at iCreate were able to help.
iC: Alright, I’ve got the questions ready to go. What do you love the most about being an off-the-plan specialist?
JG: From the beginning of my career in property sales, I’ve always thrived on the excitement of guiding clients all the way through the purchasing process. A lot of people have never purchased off-the-plan before, and it’s quite a scary thing — even just to do an expression of interest. You put down $2,000 and you wonder ‘Where’s the money going?’ and ‘Is this legit?’. So to be able to make them comfortable and convince them that it’s a good thing, it’s the fun of the job.
iC: That’s great. So when you were hired by Stone Projects to set up this project marketing arm, what were you looking for?
JG: Once you get a project, it’s all about speed to market. That’s why, when I was looking for a marketing agency, my primary requirement was to be quick and accurate. iCreate handles the ever-evolving changes of platforms like Facebook on a daily basis and keeps our marketing strategies both effective and efficient. We’re getting the results — we’re getting leads. Those leads are going to expression of interest, resulting in contracts.
iC: What changed after working with us? I remember at the start, you were a bit anxious about the marketing you needed to achieve the off-the-plan sales.
JG: Initially, we didn’t really have a lot of faith in Facebook marketing because we thought the leads weren’t great. In the past, we’ve relied heavily on other platforms as we thought we were getting better leads. With iCreate’s insights, we discovered that Facebook marketing is actually fairly effective for the cost. Now, the cost per lead can be as low as $14, a drastic reduction from the $250 we were paying before partnering with iCreate, which highlights the effectiveness of our current strategy.
iC: Did we meet your initial target?
JG: We did, yeah. The targets we set have been met consistently. We’ve secured five unconditional contracts, with a couple more pending. Our aim for ten sales for one of our big projects is within reach, and we’re already planning for the next.
iC: That’s great! And so what three benefits have you experienced as a result of working with us?
JG: Speed, adaptability and results. You really are the total package, allowing us to concentrate on what we do best. You don’t have to be concerned about what’s going on with the market because you can be assured iCreate is on top of it and will do what needs to be done. It takes away the pressure so we can focus on sales and client interactions.
iC: Thanks so much, Jason.
