The branding and website for Duo needed to have a timeless quality and creative edge that can hold its own on the national stage yet also be adaptable for future magazines in the Townsville region.
The website equally needed to be highly functional, easy to navigate and draw users into the digital magazine.
Design
- Our Design approach was to give Duo a youthful mast head that works across both digital and print publications.
- The site design has magazine quality and layout, with a monochrome theme that allows the images to really draw the eye.
- The simple boxed format combined with a strip of images in the centre on the home page works across all devices and browsers plus perfectly demonstrates the diversity of interesting articles and topics using orange calls-action-across the website.
Outcome
The new Duo brand and website truely reflects the quality of the publication, and the diversity and lifestyle attractions of the region it serves. It reinforces the loyalty of existing readers, and positions the magazine to attract both new readers and new advertisers to its digital and print magazines.
